Duthoo - Zwevegem

Duthoo is a specialist in supplying industrial wood coatings and architectural wood coatings. Within the industrial coating systems sector, the company offers a total concept of customised colours, guidance in the purchase and start-up of spraying installations, product development and in-house painting. To ensure their continued growth, Duthoo has now moved into new premises in Zwevegem (BE). The modern aluminium louvres DucoSun Cubic Design give the office building a unique character.

The architectural sun protection system is characterised by design, contemporary appearance and durability. Despite its slender shape, the structural sun protection system can handle very high spans. As an option, LED strips can be integrated into the aluminium profile to provide additional dynamism. A combination of slats with different depths (300/500/600 mm) is possible. Thanks to the DucoSun Cubic Design slats, facades become real eye-catchers. This is also the case with the Duthoo office building.

The aluminium slats have a translucent UV-resistant cover with behind it energy-efficient LED lighting that ingeniously distributes the light (white and/or coloured) in the slat.

Maximum sunlight, minimum solar heat

The special surface structure of the slat gives the awning a unique touch. The exterior blinds provide an optimal balance: maximum sunlight and minimum heat. The slats can be fixed via side plates on the end face or via hidden fixings in the back. In the future, a movable arrangement will also be possible with blinds that can be rotated up to 360°, so that you can always adjust the blinds to the needs of the moment. The system can be manufactured to any length. The maximum length of the slat depends on project-specific parameters but six metres is no exception.

When developing the DucoSun Cubic Design, DUCO paid a lot of attention to design, personalisation and quality of finish. You create the façade elements according to your own taste. Horizontally or vertically, it can be adapted to a wide variety of situations. In this way, the slats create a unique, stylish, elegant and contemporary look.
