DUCO presents ventilation and louvre wall solutions during FIT Show 2023
FIT Show 2023 returns to the NEC in Birmingham 23-25 May 2023, bringing together installers, fabricators, specifiers and innovators from across the industry. DUCO is showcasing its latest developments in the field of natural ventilation in Hall 11, stand F44.

Window & Sound absorbing ventilation
From DUCO’s standard range of cost effective self-regulating window vents that can be fitted to every kind of window, to high performance sound absorbing window vents for schools and apartments that keep unwanted noise at bay, to fire resistant window vents suitable for use in high rise applications. A wide range of natural ventilation solutions will be on display, helping you to create a healthy indoor climate all year round.
Burglar-proof louvre doors to protect properties
Within the DUCO range of Louvre Doors you will certainly find a louvre door that meets your building’s aesthetic, technical and legal requirements. Suitable for fitting in technical areas.
DucoDoor Grille and DucoDoor Louvre score very highly on burglary resistance. The solid blades ensure every door is solid and resistant to intrusion. Furthermore this louvre doors are tested by SKG in accordance with the European standards (EN1627 & NEN5096+C2) and a certified burglary resistance class 2 version is possible.
Intensive ventilation in warm summer months
During the warm summer months intensive (night) ventilation, in combination with external solar shading, means that the indoor climate of a building remains controllable naturally. With the controlled damper DucoGrille Close 105, fresh air from the outside enters a building directly through the building envelope whilst giving the building owner the chance to control unwanted drafts and rain. This solution is the ultimate guarantee of a healthy indoor climate.
Efficient screening and purge ventilation solutions
Also on display will be the DucoWall Screening and DucoWall Classic systems. The aluminium louvre-wall DucoWall Screening is particularly suitable for projects in which the wall is primarily used for façade cladding. These systems ensure a super-quick assembly.
The DucoWall Classic W 50HP and DucoWall Classic W 130HP systems have been developed especially for intensive purge ventilation. The resistance factor is exceptionally low which allows large quantities of air to be introduced into or removed from spaces, using only a limited surface. Additionally, DUCO offers numerous solutions for the combination of DucoWall Classic with doors and roof turrets.
Barrier Load Louvres to increase safety in student houses
Barrier Load Louvres protect people from falling through open windows in high-rise applications, such as student housing. The louvres are barrier load tested to BS6180 and impact resistant to BSEN 13049 Class 5 (pending). They are available in various frame options to suit glazing systems and have several blade, angle and pitch options.
